That was in 35c weather and on an incline? ..a very swift getaway for a HOT temp day! Not bad at all, Doc..:)

Has anyone had a play with a GTech to get more accurate timings?

Hi all, clubVR4 is off line at the moment, so thought i would anoy you guys for a bit.

i take it. The 0-100 is kmph. which is 0-62mph. which should be about right for a standard VR4. but at a temp of 35C it is not bad.

just out of interest did you launch it. holding the foot brake while reving to 3000rpm, then letting go the brake and plating the accelerator at the same time.

doing that can shave about a secound off your time. but not so good for your turque converter.

Yeah mate, launched at around 2700, any higher and the brakes don't hold. I also had the aircon on + 90% humidity makes for horrible conditions for the engine.

When I was at the drags the air was cooler (29deg, at night so no radiation from tarmac), and was running about 12psi with no aircon on, I calculated it to be around 4.9sec to 100 or 62mph. FYI the ET was 13.3@101mph.
