1996 vr4 legnum

hey guys
im looking at purchasing a 1996 vr4 legnum
fresh import
75000ks
as i have never had anything to do with these before i am just wondering what things i should look out for?
and i am also wondering what the strength of the auto gearbox is like?
i am also wondering if the newer models had many more upgrades?
any help much appreciated

Hi Tom,

Once you have read all the guides you will be sweet hey.

All of the above has been covered a million times.

A 1996 is the first legnum so a series 1 after 98 they become series 2 with just body styling updates and nothing else.

If you want a fresh import with that spec you should look at getting an import agent to find you one and importing it yourself.

Auto gearbox is strong if you install a transmission cooler.

Short answers are that auto's spontaneously die and theres nothing you can look for except leaks that'll be any sign, and the newer models only really had styling upgrades. Same engine and transmissions in all models
