My VR4 is up for sale as I won’t be returning to Australia. It’s had loads of time and money spend on it and its now as near to perfect stock condition as I could get it. The engine was removed and cleaned and checked to make sure everything was perfect. It was given its 100k service to replace all the main engine seals, the heads came off and were tanked to make sure they were perfectly clean. The heads then had loads of new parts installed and every type of seal that can possibly leak in an engine was replaced.
Both turbos were removed and sent away for rebuilding including new compressor wheels and bearing and seals. The engine mounts were all fully replaced as they should be once they have done 100k of life as they affect handling and performance as they get old.
I used loads of OEM parts at great expense and where better quality aftermarket parts were available I used those instead. Every bit that can wear in one of these cars has already been replaced so there is nothing left to do now except for drive and enjoy the 290hp that’s this cars engine brings. It’s really usable power and is available right from the moment you step on the accelerator.
The cars gearbox has a new filter and new oils.
