Idling at the Lights
Year/Make/Model: 1998 Legnum VR4
Asking price: $3000.00 to OZVR4 member (I will list it for $3500.00 on TradeMe if there are no takers).
Kilometers: Body = 218,000; Engine = Aprrox. 175,000
Registration expiry date: 04/01/2020
Roadworthy/Safety Certificate provided: 03/03/2020
Transmission: Manual
Body colour and condition: Black - Pretty strait apart from a small dent/scrape in the back right corner from being hit in a supermarket car park. The clear coat on the roof and bonnet is stuffed.
Interior colour, specs and condition: Dark Grey/Black with blue fleck. Recaro's in the front (in the same color)
Mechanical condition and service history: Run's fine, although it is currently running pretty rich so could definitely use a tune. New radiator, thermostat and heater hoses just fitted. I have replaced the alternator, fuel tank, front brake pads and rotors recently. regular 5000Km oil & filter changes.
Modifications: FMIC & PIPING, 1000cc Bosch injectors, DW300 fuel pump, Sard FPR, Evo BOV, full 3inch catback exhaust, new zero tick lifters, new alloy radiator, turbo timer, manual boost controller and gauge, double DIN stereo with Bluetooth. other stuff that I can't remember at the moment.
Service documents available: I have receipts for some of the more recent work.

Other important points: The current engine is the second engine in this body (the first engine went down one too many quarter miles
) The 2nd engine had done approx 120,000Km's when it was put in and had the cambelt, water pump and related parts replaced at this point. I can't verify the exact KM's as it's going back 6+ years and was done by the previous owner (close friend who had the car for years before I owned it). I have owned the car for 4 years.
Car will come with spare MAF, 3 coils, spare steering wheel (current one is a bit rough but I preferred it) and anything Legnum related I have laying around (have a MAP2 ECU somewhere)..
Reason for selling: Wanting something a bit smaller and easier to work on. The Legnum has been amazing and runs really well, but it's at the age where it needs a lot of time to get it back to it's former glory and I am more focused on other areas right now.
I would prefer that it stays with someone who knows what it is, how to fix it and won't wrap it round a poll.
