1st Tasmanian meet

Ok people I propose we organize a meet. I think that seems there is some members in the north west and some in the south that perhaps we have a meet somewhere in between.

So we need some ideas for meet place.

Date?? Post some thoughts on when and where.

I have spoken to a couple of Tasmanian members and think that meeting at the Cataract Gorge in Launceston would be a good place.

When are people free to attend a meet? I propose we have it on a saturday around lunch time or early afternoon.

Ok well how about Saturday April 25th? We could meet up at the cataract gorge or somewhere before that and drive to the gorge together. I think around 12:00pm or 12:30pm to meet so we don't have to get up too early and have time to get back home incase any of us have to work nights! (Paul and Bart??) Please post thoughts and replies asap as some people need more time than others to organise time off etc.

I know there is only 4 of us on here so we need it to be ok for all to attend.

Ok well the day has arrived. Not much of a day, rain and cloud. Ah well lets eat up some highway and see what comes of it all. Pics will be posted when I return.

Well I didn't plan the meet too well as the meeting point was rather full as there was a AFL game on in Launceston today so we moved to the following Macca's. Myself and Haggiss went to the next Maccas and had a bite to eat while waiting for Sickvr4 to arrive. Before too long we were all there and then cruised to the cataract gorge. Took some pics and generally looked over each others cars and got to know each other. Was a good day, my car is a bit dirty though as it rained for a lot of the 200km trip for me. The others had the benefit of no rain before getting to the meet.

As far as I know there are 2 Galants and 6 Legnums. There may be more but that is the ones I am aware of. So we had almost 50% of them.
