i'm keen for new plugs , so if there is a group buy again i'm in

fellas, for some reason the price have gone up to $12.15 each.. they are 1.1mm gapped so you'll just have to re-gap them..

can i please get a PM of who's definitely ordering, I'm picking them up on Wednesday and hopefully I can send it on the same day too..

I'll probably have more stock of the pre-gapped ones late next week if any one wants a set.

i'll take a set

fellas.. I dont think I can get a set of pluggies any more :( branch's closing down..

I ordered the Rocker cover gasket today for when I do my plugs.
Mitsi charged 17.64 for it. (MD178940) Picked it up and its only for 1 so if you wanted to replace all you need x6
I also ordered the Ralliart air filter from them for $132 + GST

I'll take pics then they arrive.

Not sure if someone have informed already this but those damn expensive seals are littlebit cheaper at Camskills.

You really shouldn't be paying more than ¥500 each plus shipping, which is what you can get them from Mitsubishi Japan for. That's around $40 all up to your door with the right supplier ;)

Part number for these is MD327253. I strongly suspect they're a great deal cheaper than this from Japan - I'll look into it.

Just changed my plugs out with the Iridium ones. As I am a novice and don't know what a bad plug is how does the old one look?

plug1.jpg

seems like a used normally used plug.. have you got a better shot of it? like looking down (in a bit of an angle) on the electrode..

also did that came from the rear bank?

they look like they are in reasonable condition, they weren't on their last legs at least.

Doc, if that plug is iridium.. IMO you got nothing to worry about.. it looks like its doing its job pretty good..

One point to note, i just put new plugs (thanks Trav) in my stock 2001 legnum, and the ones i took out were completely eroded down on the centre electrode, with gaps up to 1.4mm on the rear bank. so i would advise new owners to check/replace plugs ASAP on reciept of the car as highly reccomended.

No wonder i was having the car bog down running even slightly elevated boost levels...

changed mine on sunday, big improvement over the old ones (which weren't all that bad really) im assuming due to gapping difference
