Hey there, just wondering if anybody here has done a 6a13tt swap into a 7th gen galant? Also has anybody here ever ran twin external wastegate set up on twin turbo set up?
Cheers.

Thank you! I'm from nz too. Hopefully can get hold of the guy for some info. I have a factory manual 8th gen vr4 but body's totally wrecked top to bottom, front to back. And things like abs system not working, wiring has been hacked at and bog and dents in every panel. Got joined on a deal basically but oh well we're here now and thought maybe doing a gen7 swap would be cool.

Depends on how you want to do the swap.
Are you wanting to swap everything, gearbox etc?
That will require substantial fabrication.

Swapping the engine itself in is fairly easy and doesn't really require much fabrication

It's unlikely to have the rear diff mountings in it though.
Doing an 8g vr4 conversion to a 2wd 7g is going to require a lot of fab work, especially if you want to swap the entire running gear in to it.

There was one other 7g vr4 that had this swap done like the way you want to do it, but it was a track car and required full custom mounts for the engine and gearbox along with custom axles and driveshaft.

You have to remember that the engine and box sits the opposite way around in the 7g engine bay.

Thanks for that info, very helpful. Have decided to fix up 8g body. Factory manual body would be ashamed to scrap it.
