Last year in Octobre i lost my job due to back problems i just started my 3rd year as an apprentice boiler maker. I absolutely love the trade. Whilst my back was healing i went to trade school and finished off as much schooling as possible, when i was ready i went to numerous factories and i basically got told i was too old to hire in a nice way. Its really pissing me off the fact that i cant continue my trade due to my age. By now i would be close to qualifed and its getting me a little bit down. I was just wondering if anyone here on the forum in Melbourne in the south eastern suburbs is in the trade or knows of anyone in the trade that could possibly give me a shot at continuing my apprenticeship if any one does please pm me i dont want to throw away 3 years for nothing cheers all just for taking time to read.
