Hey guys, having trouble with the search function on my phone so started a new thread, hopefully someone can help me.

I started the Leggy this morning for work AMD noticed a dew metres down the road that my TCL and ABS lights ate on and my Slip light (little car doing skids) is flashing constantly.

Does anyone have any idea what it might be,I am at work and needed to turn around and go home to swap cars on the way so Haven't checked codes or anything.

This happened to me turned out it was a loose battery terminal... Also check the main fuses in the engine bay.hope that helps

do an ecu reset, if it comes back straight away, check the following

- tire pressures, make sure all for have the same tire pressures..
- TPS Sensor (one near the TB) check the connection
- white cannister on the firewall, check fir hairline cracks..
- vacuum hoses - check for loose or cracks
- ATF fluid - check if it level is correct (between high and low when hot), smell for any funky burnt smell..

Ran codes and threw Code 78 on the little car with skids light
-78 Pressure Accumulator Sensor System
Any Ideas?

Does anyone have the Diagnostic Flow chart in English, I can't work it out from the Japanese Manual.

Sounds like potential vacuum canister solenoid issue.

Check JDM workshop manual 13A-105 for inspection procedure.

Edit: Just saw your reply about JDM manual. Unfortunately code no. 78 doesn't exist in the USDM manual. However, there's english guides for what I assume are checking similar components in section 13H.

After a shit tin of searching the Jap Manual I discovered It wants me to check the Harness between the TCL switch and ASC-ECU

What does that mean.

Reset the ECU and cleared the codes, lights disappeared and I let it run a few minutes.Drove a few hundred metres but when I turned onto the main road and accelerated to about 50kmh the lights all appeared again.

Has anyone heard anything about this or does anyone know what a Pressure Accumulator Sensor system is?

I'm sad.

So I checked all My fuses with a test light, disconnected cleaned and reconnected all the connections at the harness to/from the ABS, there was a sneaky one hiding under the ASC box in the rear right corner of the Engine bay by the Main fuse Box.Checked the Relay for the ASC, then reset my ECU. No codes showed up when I checked for them. Also one of the connections had 3 wires going into it and one coming out, where the two wires would normally exit were two little, pins,I would call them, I pushed them and felt them Notch back in.They stayed there.

Drove 15km's home, tested the ABS and it works, took a few corners at speed, no ASC/ABS/AYC lights. Got home, checked codes, No Codes.
Hopefully this holds out and everything has returned to normal, Will keep you updated and hopefully will be able to pinpoint what is/was wrong and how it can be fixed for future reference.

Thanks for your help guys.

Being a Legnum It could have been one of only 10,000 things lol

Being manual, no TCL, I've only got 9998 points of failure instead :D

Okay, seems my gremlin has returned.Did some research on problems with our cars and ASC/TCL in general, it seems that it is most likely an electrical problem, possibly a bad wire or a dodgey relay that is failing to active my accumulator when its supposed to.The ABS works fine so its not.the accumulator itself. I'm guessing it may be the Relay in the ASC box. Will replace it tomorrow and let you all know how it goes.

This problem is still kicking my ass.will invest some more time into it this morning. Fuck I hate electrical issues.

How did you go Mitch? I'm getting ABS and brake light coming on and it's making me sad everytime I drive. When the ABS light is off it works fine so it's not the ABS itself either, and brakes work fine.

Very similar to me, I am still working on it but I got stabbed for a Signallers course at work and have been getting smashed all week with encryption coding and ciphering and all that shit so haven't had a spare minute. Sorry to leave you hanging. Will try and have a chat with you tonight mate so keep an eye out here.

Hey guys, Bit of an update, I ran EvoScan on the Legnum and checked for codes and It came up with Code: Vehicle Speed Sensor (24). Can anyone shed any light on this? It makes sense as to why my ABS light turns off when the vehicle is shut down, but re-appears when I hit 55 and stays there until next shutdown. This is a different code to the one I get by checking my codes with a paper clip. My ABS still works, I slammed the brakes on at 50km/h and it just pulled straight up without any lock up.

Code List seems to point towards Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor Error, Anyone point me in the right direction?

I think we all get that code and it doesnt mean anything for our cars,Evoscan codes arnt allways corect do your paper clip thing its more reliable. I have the same code allways there when checked with evoscan then I check it the other way or even a scan tool and no codes come up.
