Hey guys

So im toying with different ideas and thought id get the opinions of those more in the know

(i will be hoping to attend the 7th Jan Vic meet to view some mods as i am a fresh fish)

basically... i really like the dolphin aero kit.. front bar, sides and rear... couple with a carbon Vogue styled bonet. i do like the vogue kit but my love atm is for the dolphin. :)

do i need to worry about compatability? would it clash?

thoughts

peace.

It isn't going to cause any fitting problems, whether or not it clashes style wise is your choice I guess

Yeah fair call... thats why im looking forward to seeing a few wagons at the Vic meet... be easier in the flesh.. Just out of interest...

How do we go with purchasing and importing?? Fairly simple??

a p.s to the above...

i have read up on the parts and accessories... seems accessible enough

but around importing these kits from japan or closer to home... im just a little sketchy on how reliable etc it is...

sorry guys

cheers

Most of the japanese places that ship internationally are very good with packaging and everything, I wouldn't worry too much about that at all.

I'd leave it stock visually, with a decent set of 18x9s and low ride height. That looks best IMO.

Yeah im working on the 18"s... thats the exact size im chasing :) scowering through the wheels threads

the factory kit does have its appeal, but for my own ego i guess... the dolphin or vogue would be my front runners...

You'll find that here in Melbourne there aren't actually that many VR-4s with aftermarket bodykits. But come along to the wash meet anyway!

hey thanks guys appreciate it... yeah ill come out to wash meet definitely... actually purple VR4?? i think i may have passed you the other day?? or maybe not... do you have much need to drive through narre warren at all?

Haven't been through Narre in months. There are a few other purple VR-4s around though.

The only issue with shipping is the price, especially now as shipping has gotten more expensive due to lower demand and with the way the AUD has dropped against the Yen and USD :banghead:

Beware the TopStage bumper needs extensive prep work - factor in between $500 and $1k for prep and paint from your local panel shop once you've got the bar.
