aircon/pwr steer idler tensioner bearing/ pully part numbers or somewhere i could find out.

im trying to find a pully assy including bearing. it is the lower belt tensioner pully located under the aircon unit.

local Mitsubishi dealers parts desk is stupid and sent the wrong part twice and still cant find what part it is.

any help would be appreciated

Do you have the exact part number? If not, download ASA and look up for yourself what it is and you'll get a lot further.

I've been thinking of changing mine too, along with the alternator one.

they are reasonably common failures mine was pretty cactus, the spare from my wreck had about half the bearing play but still quite a bit.

i had a magna bearing modified for the top tensioner. there was a spacer that needed to be machined and that worked. but there isnt for this bearing as ive seen

i had a magna pully fitted today that works when you take out the tensioner assy and replace it with a bolt and nut operation and a smaller belt. cost me like $20

I was just going to say a magna pulley works when you tension the shit out of it lol. But a smaller belt is probably a better idea. I got mine from bill for roughly the same price in the end so went that way.
