Noticed the other day that entries have opened for the 2012 All Japan Day

Wigley Reserve, Glenelg, 26th February

Had a pretty good turn out last year, who's up for it this year? Im hoping the legume will be ready to go, it hasnt been there for a couple of years

I may be interested this year, when do the entries close? It will hang on other commitments

I think it ll be a greater chance of filling up this year, sooner rather than later would probably be better

I should be up for it again.

Hopefully wont have Lachlann to entertain all day this year - got a few strange looks sitting in the back of the leggie colouring in and reading stories

All going to plan, it should be painted the week before. Would be good to be down there with you guys and the other guys I know entering like usual.
Dion, I'll make sure it's done by then.

Why is it that All Japan Day has to fall on the exact same day 2+ years running as the All Chrysler Day?

And yes I know they are polar opposites in terms of the car interest scene, but the only relevant shows I can enter either of my cars into fall onto the same day!

/whinge

I'm in for this again

Admittedly I wasn't the most social bastard but it was so damn hot I went for cover.

We definitely need to all go in at the same time cause it was great to see a rainbow of VR4's

I wish I had the $ Work Miesters on my Miester Blue would be cool

edit. I just learned it is My star blue

I am officially registered, will bring eski and meat, someone bring a mini BBQ and were all sweet, would be great too see a decent turnout of Leg's Galants. $10 for a good day out of talking shit and looking at cars.

I've had a quick squiz at the All Japan Day website, and it says to "be at the event (with your car!) before 10:00am (gates will open at 9:00am), and stay until 3:00pm"

So does this mean strictly speaking you must stay next to your car the entire time, or are you able to leave your car unattended (locked, obviously) for a brief period? Or is the above statement referring to only the car? I would figure as such because you don't want people to be moving their cars in the middle of the day!
I haven't participated before so i don't know what the protocol would be.

Yea in essence you must stay with your vehicle, but if there is a big group of Leggy's and Galants then obviously we can all look after each others rides, like if you need to go for a walk, have a piss, take a dump, pull your dick over some sexy wheels etc :P

Its pretty relaxed, you dont have to stay with your car all day, you'll want to have a good look around at all the other cars too

It does end up being a long day but you're not stuck with your car all day

Okay that sounds cool, 10am-3pm isn't all that long really, that time will fly... tennis matches are known to go for longer than this LOL :)

We gathered prior to opening and made sure to all be together on entry.

They prefer you to stay around and talk about your car if people have questions however last year was damn hot so most people ended up going for shade.

I left my hood up for most of it, had lunch across the road and spent plenty of time looking at other cars and short shorts (until the missus came).

You cant remove your car until 3pm.
