Hi there guys , great forum to start my legnum journey. I have been a big fan of the legnum for a while. I just love the look of pimped wagons. I am a long time mitsu guy . I have been a big mitsu fan ever since I was 16 and bought my first 1973 GB Galant. From there it was the first time I saw the e39 VR4 and hooked.

Finally 6 years ago I got my chance and bought my first e39 VR4 a-spec ( I still own , but is a little different now, I post pics of it later). Since that first VR4 I have owned 3 other vr4. 2 were parts cars and only recently I owned a genuine e38 RS VR4. I decided to sell it to down size and I built a 1990 CB GSR 3 door hatch came up at the right price. I fitted up a spare 4g63bt to replace the very damage 1.6l. I have been using this car for the past 6 months and just recently decided that I need something bigger to daily drive.

I've decided the next toy will be a legnum. I have a couple in mind and plan to have a look this weekend.

If anyone has some ideas of things that things should be very important on my list to inspect in these cars , it would be great. I have already checked with the cars that timing belts have been done and how recently.

I hope to learn heaps about these super exciting cars.

I bought a car yesterday.
2000 Legnum.
94k on the clock
ARC intercooler and ARC airbox
auto rebuilt 6 months ago and oil cooler fitted
KYB shocks
Ecu has a 'Success Orient Work Results Magic' sticker on it. From the research I have done they are a Japanese Ecu mapping company
Blitz EBC

So far I am really enjoying car. Fantastic and very responsive. Car feels very solid on the road.

i will doing the timing belt within the next month and full service. I will be fitting my stereo system next week and new viper alarm.

Hope the pic works. Gets some better pics I give it a good clean.

Thanks for the comments guys. I put the on a hoist at a mate house and had a good poor under the car , looks in great condition. Also found the the owner in Japan fitted a stainless 3" down pipe from the turbos to the cat. Cat on is standard. I have fitted most of my stereo system . Pioneer double din , Audison avk6 splits , hertz 5 channel amp under rear floors and 2 hertz 10" woofers. Also fitted a reverse camera , so next is a front camera and remote start alarm.

I also just ordered a timing belt kit , rocker cover gasket kit , denso vk22 plugs and tow hook cover

Yeah can't help myself. I normally have the stereo within a week of buying a car. I still have to dynamat the doors, and maybe fit some rears speakers and ipad roof mount but I'm a little with drawn to cut the roof lining.
