Hey everyone,

Alex here! I was lucky enough to pick up Dereks Legnum, there is a little bit of pressure owning the admins old car haha, but in all honesty this has been the best car to buy, because I have soooo much history on this forum about this car.

Not much planned in the way of mods or anything upcoming just wanna enjoy it as is for now, although I need to get rid of the Mazda wheels, I'm into the style of them but are we allowed to cross-manufacture like that? Open to suggestions though.

Welcome aboard, Alex. Yeah sorry about the Mazda wheels but I'm keeping the old wheels to put on my new ride :p

Make sure you do replace those tyres too.

The tyres have been changed, passed roadworthy with flying colours, has be registered and insured and is now being enjoyed!

Interesting that the compliance plate has is listed as a Gallant though, any reason for that Mookers?

I don't actually know why. It is one of the earlier examples to arrive in Australia, and the first one complied by the (now defunct) dealer I got it from. So maybe they just went with whatever seemed easiest to understand.

they are technically a Galant, but in a form of Wagon.

same concept as Magna's and Commodore's, they come in sedan and wagons...

Congratulations on your puchase and welcome mate. Dont worry about the Galant Legnum bit, mine is officially listed as a Mitsubishi S wagon (n)

There are plenty of owners in Vic, and we even catch up from time to time. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever want to be social with the leggy!

Chucked some GTR rims I had spare on tonight, not sure how I feel. Defs a better fitment than the Mazda rims.

But being 16's I scrape everwhere. Possibly need to roll the rear guards too
