Need to flush my AYC, have every thing set up but my cable wont work the ayc ecu.
It could be because it has the combined abs ayc ecu.
If that's the case I might have to do it the old fashion way.

Would be happy to come and get it and drop it off.

Thanks in advance

Is your steering wheel dead straight? I found that it's more than 30 degrees off centre then Evoscan won't connect to the AYC actuators.

The other thing is that you need to remove a pin from your cable, pin 9 I think it was. Better double check though!

Thanks guys, gave up and did it with the wheels in the air.
Bout to go for a test drive if its making funny noises ill try to persist with my cable.

Edit: worked well no groaning or any thing its amazing how much a fluid flush improves the handling of the car.

I've been finding the car can't be too far out of level.... Last time I did my car it just would not connect, I had to roll it down the drive and come back up to get it to go....

It sure does make a difference.

I havent tried my cable again.
I might give it a go some where random like a carpark.

I took all four wheels off. But the noise and seeing the front hubs whipping around isnt exactly comforting.

Battery level also matters. Doesn't take much for it to cut out.. so try connect a battery booster or something maybe.

Can someone tell me why pin #9 must be removed from the OBD cable?

Pin 9 is the ETACS pin (apparently). I don't even think my OpenPort cable HAS a Pin 9.
