After recently converting our FL Legnum to manual, I was wondering if anybody knew the history of the gearbox or the car it came from.
A full conversion kit was purchased form Import Nation in Braeside, Melb including shifter base, boot and woodgrain cover below the boot. Apparently it was a 98 Legnum. Im not sure of the colour.
It had a modified shifter. The lower shaft (below the pivot ball) was cut and extended with a sleeve. It also had solid shifter base mounts, but not the ones from Adam. These were similar, but a lot higher. Lifting the base up about 20mm. It also had some of the shifter base trimmed.
I took it apart to replace all the seals and input shaft bearings (both ends) and all seemed well.
Does anyone know of this car/ gearbox?
