Hi guys/gals,

does anyone know a good way to get an image of an auction sheet translated?

I've contacted a couple of translation places but one wouldn't do a small job like an auction sheet and the other wanted $50.

cheers

I'm serious - post it up and I'll do my best. Cheaper than paying for one.

Not trying to steal your thunder Kristian but I don't know how time critical this is:

1996 Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 turbo
35,910km
5 speed manual
Grade 4 condition (good) with A interior (excellent)
Sunroof
Airbags
Leather
One owner vehicle
Wood steering wheel
Rear spoiler scratch
Body kit scratch
Left side skirt has big scratch with uneven paint
Medium scratch/dent on right rear quarter

Looks like a good car but keep in mind auction reports are pretty unreliable these days, it really pays to get someone to look at it first.

Hi Ben,

thanks for that, there's no time pressure, this one is already on it's way over :) - just never got the whole thing translated up until now.

I was mainly wondering about the steering wheel. Sounds like it might need a decent bit of panel touch ups as well :(

cheers

From what Kristian has told me, it's more to do with the newer grading system rather than the reports themselves.

Sometimes it's a huge advantage reading Japanese - they'll grade a car 4BB, which sounds great but when you read the auction notes it's full of rust underneath...

All I can really tell you is that they are both Prefacelift's and it doesn't look like they have much body damage, but I can't read the japanese which is where the true story lies

Does this sheets sound okey.

Neither of them are - the first one has had a big front-end hit, and the second has rust underneath and a problem with the AC, despite being graded a 4...

And it's best not to show auction sheets of cars still to come up at auction - for all you know, I could be bidding against you ;)
