A side note, is the - and + for tiptronic meant to illuminate with lights on too? Mine doens't but the P R N D do.

Do we really need em? The manual drivers already reckon we're tame... don't let them know we're such pikers we need lights to direct our gearstick up and down
I've seriously thought about doing that folder thing and just slipping it in the hole, not sure how'd i'd go without ripping stuff out but it's definitely worth a shot.

A quick question for all those people that have a auto with the factory cover. Is the hole in the cover for the gear lever a neat hole just for the lever or is it a slot to allow the lever to go into tip mode? Or does the cover move over with the lever? I have made a cover for mine and encountered a few problems which I will list later. When I am completely happy with my cover I made I may even create a how to guide for others. It is rather easy to do and costs next to nothing, in fact you could make a new one for $2.

There are two parts to the cover, one which slides up and down and the other which goes from side to side.

Ok I see, I thought this would be the case as looking at area it fits into there is no space for the cover to move sideways. I would really like for someone take a pic of it and post up.
