Ahoy there chaps and chapettes, quick and easy one tonight, I got 2 ayc lights up tonight and i was wondering, (coz i had my stereo up rather loud) if when the ayc kicks in, does it make a noise?!? I thought i heard something but before i could try it again i was at home and my girl wasnt too happy with how i had been driving haha

sounds like you need to get it serviced...

same with my girl.. even if i just accelerate a little more than usual, she'd get cranky..

I had a topic with the exact same question. The answer is that the AYC shouldn't make any noises and as Naughtika said, if it's making noises it's time for a service.

wel there are lots of thresd here we can all look up.
I have one doubt that if it is making noise, it is ayc issue. might check other stuff as well perhaps but as everyone her says yes~1 get it serviced

If its making noise it usually either has air in the system or the fluid is knackered. A full bleed is often all that's necessary to eliminate the noise. More serious AYC issues usually result in error codes &/or malfunctions.

Also if anyone missed it BP SP111 oil is identical to the mitsubishi sp111 as bp makes it for mitsy.
So hunt around as I get my sp111 for $8per ltr instead of the mitsy stuff for $25.
Find a hoist and 3 guys and do the ayc change in 30min.
Lift the car get the wheels spinning turn the wheel undo the nuts for the ayc and bleed all the fluid while constantly topping up and your ayc should be back to normal.

also stated in other thread... use Amsoil ATF, BP SPIII or Valvoline Max Life which is compatible with mitsubishi Diamond SPII & SPIII
