AYC malfunction

Hi there

Ive recently bought a legnum the ayc works sometimes and then it doesnt
has anyone had this same issue, when i put it into a hard corner the lights dont bar up and i get hectic under steer, the lights somme times work but rarley. can someone explain the issue im dealing with and weather i have a problem.

couple of things to check first..

- have you had it serviced recently?
- if serviced recently, have you checked the oil level in the oil reservoir?
- if serviced, who's done the job and what oil was used?

i know the questions above may sound stupid, but to start troubleshooting this issue, those things are asked primarily..

Does the red light come on at all? I'd perhaps suggest having a look at the AYC ECU connectors and see if any of them are loose. Typically if the Pump isn't functioning properly or if any sensors aren't happy the red light will come on

are you taller than about 6'3 or 6'4? if so then you may be suffering from the same problem as matt where hes too tall and the steering wheel simply blocks the site of the ayc bars while turning

it only went on for what, 8 months haha

ok i dont now the car enough to do the ayc service so does anyone now where i can get it serviced in sydney.
