AYC Rebuild parts (Currently sounds like its seen better days)

I found this company that makes replacement or maybe uprated? friction plates for the AYC diff.

Just wasn't sure if people bothered rebuilding these. Id LIKE to keep my ayc working. Maybe look into a SAYC unit?

For the effort (and cost) involved in refreshing a early AYC the smart money is to just upgrade to SAYC.

Does the SYAC from the evo X swap in? sadly this is the only unit i ever see for sale in the states.

Im not sure if the X is different but the 8/9 bolts in with 2 small spacers. Only annoyance is you have to unfbolt the diff to fill it with oil as the fill hole doesnt align with the hole in the subframe

Iirc the EvoX is the same.

The blank for the Legnum drain location is there, just not drilled.

Sadly in north america our evo 8/9 never came with AYC. only ACD transfercase's.

Looks like im snagging a evo X ayc rear diff
