My car will finaly arrive in the next week or so and I need to know if the BBS wheels that are an option on some cars the same size as all other preface lift or wider. Also I need to find out if 225/50/16 tyres would fit ok instead of the stock 205/55/16? i
ahh that is true Carsten, but the stock BBS wheels are only 16x6 and aren't really suitable for 225/50 tyres. Kenneth had them on his car and found he could push the car about 5cm's sideways with one hand when the car was just sitting there, and it also handled like a very soft poo around corners.
EVO 8's or 9's have hot BBS rims, good luck finding a set though they would be 17" x 8" +38 i believe
they are relatively easy to find here in NZ. Normal evo 6/7/8/9 wheels are available cheaply too. There is a set of evo 8 wheels that are $800 with 70% grip Bridgestone S-03's on them, and they can't sell them! ohh and you're right about the size, all 7/8/9 rims are 17x8 38mm
This is the car I was going to buy before we found the purple one ... It had 18" BBS RX's on it, very nice wheels I reckon
Well here is what the EVO MR BBS look like on my car with no rubber as I need to sell my current wheels to pay for the rubber.
same^^^ .. steve i have noticed when my car (silver) is nice and clean there seems to be a slight pearl trough the paint depending on what light you see it in.. i love it.. Emanuel your car looks hot with the evo wheels and brembo's, good on ya mate.
