Not exactly. It's the piping coming off the external wategate plumbed back into the exhaust. If it wasn't plumbed, it would be a screamer pipe.

Also is 'buzy' a New Zealand word?

yea for cert i have to plumback or run a screamer pipe to the REAR of the cabin compartment and if its too loud i have to then muffle it similar to an exhaust to be a legal VTA Wastegate, dumb but oh well..
the VR4's sound like a tractor with a hole in the manifold when accelorating..

thats pretty standard for all car with a screamer...or standard for an sr20 lol

Ahh yes the agricultural "whistle in a drain pipe" of the SR...I kinda like it :D

What's with the screamer fascination of late?

tbh I find its popular with boy racers of two types and sometimes both together.
your dumbasses who wanna impress the hunnies and in the case of the young fella down the road ow... its mean az cuz!

either way it draws unwanted attention.

ok so i have been flat out this week..
heres some pictures of what iv done and did..

the Guages were digital guages wich i have removed them form the housing and then removed the lcd display form the main brains and made them so i can hide the brain away and use only the lcd display where i want them,so my plans have begun to mock up a new dash cover and then once iv done that i will get etched cut smked glass or perspex and mount the displays behind that and theyl ldisplay what they are and their readings clearly.
iv also moved the AC unit from top al lthe way to the bottom to allow the dsisplays to go uptop.

i also fitted my colour coded piping kit aswell as the FMIC and air box wixh i skinned in Carbon Fibre.
Alloy Radiator is in aswell.
newly Painted Cam ,Rocker and water covers fitted aswell.

now that the engine bay is near completion i can now focus on interor and bang that out

enjoy

The piping looks really good but there are no flex points. The engine moves quite a bit especially when taking off and shifting hard, All the stress of the movement will be transmitted to the welded on tabs fixing down the cooler piping and then transmitted to the poor 12mm bolts holding it onto the turbos. Maybe cut a couple of sections and replace with silicon to allow for engine flex? Apart from that, it looks awesome.
