I have a N/A 6A12 DOHC 24v HJ Galant.

I wanted to know what would possibly be the best mods to place on this N/A

apart from the standard modifiactions like ; light weight flywheel / light weight under drive pulley , Extractors / ECU.

Has any1 got any other ideas like bigger intake manifold or boring out the throttle body?

cheers

Have you spoken to Dave at RPW? I'm sure he'll give you are few ideas.

dave at rpw would be the best person to speak to by far. Do mivec engines drop straight into those? If so start talking to FTO owners :)

Well I wouldn't touch an underdrive pulley for starters. Just a lightweight one standard size one. Underdrives cause too many issues.

I'd be looking at timing advance if you can do it and, of course, only running 98 octane.

Have you looked at a cold air induction setup? After that you could perhaps look at cams, or even just adjustable cam gears to really fine tune what's happening. Or higher compression etc.

There are a lot of good performance workshops around Vic that you can go and talk to in person as well. It's always good to have face to face relations with people who are going to help you with your car.

If you actually visit rpw.com.au and read up on his 6a12 development, you'll read how it took Dave over a year to develop a 2.5 L MIVEC version.

I'd say he would want a bit more than 2 bob worth for it!!;)
