hey fellas..

just wanna know if what everyone thinks of angel eyes.. on our headlights?

because this week I'll be finishing my projector retrofit and thought while its open, should I put those angel eyes/halo rings or not..

also the projector is only on the low beam.. so it'll be a projector & beam combination.. just thought i'd try this one out first :)

angel eyes look like this..

photos were taking from TGC.. as an example as it'll look similar..

didnt get a chance to take photos since I was in a hurry to get home..

Personally im not a fan of the angel eyes.

If you made a set with the projectors on both low + high , i rekon id be up to get a set made by you.

They would go super well with my Hid's

The ones posted up from that headlight site looked pretty good. I would be keen on all 4 as long as they look good.

I want Angel Eyes for my car! :) Get them with the projecters!

go for it, i voted just low beams, but im changing it now to hi/lo

thanks for the votes and input guys..

I might add a set of H1 projectors too for the Hi beams but, I really want this stuff to be complete by the end of the week.. :)

the low beam projector Im using, luckily it is H7.. just needed to flip the cut off plates so i shouldn't have any problems with on coming cars..

I think I'll add the 4 angel eyes.. but I will paint the back half of it black so the light only points outwards.. not inside where it might make the "angel eyes effect" rather useless..

will post some pics up as soon as I can..

im keen to see this progress. where'd you get the projector part from?

Sounds like a neat little project you got going, im looking forward to seeing your results.

have made a bit of progress today even though I was a bit short of time since I have work starting at 7pm..

I first started on the driver side headlight, thought it was hard to remove the clear plastic cover but was pretty easy.. I used my dad's heatgun but I think shoving the headlight in the oven for about 5 minutes with 250 deg celsius would've been enough to loosen up the sealant..

here are some pictures of the headlight - this shot below was taken without the shroud, I'm still contemplating on whether I should put it on or not.. or if I should add the "Angel Eyes"

with the shroud on and a bit of extra lighting from the phone camera's flash..

So what do you all think?!

with the shroud, I was thinking of covering it with Carbon Fiber.. since I have some left over.. but am too worried that it might be a little too overkill

here's the finished product.. but sad news is.. I have to open it up again.. I think the light adjuster nut has loosened itself.. or may need to replace it..

I have only installed a pair of CCFL's on to the low beams (as pictured below)

but while its off again.. Im thinking if I should remove the CCFL or add another pair..

here's a pic without the CCFL..
