i think you got ripped off by actually PAYING for it..
also, how can boost tapering off cause detonation? a boost spike would, but
you are forcing less air in at higher revs, so if anything you're going to run richer depending on how your car was tuned.

FAIL! Thought I read it was 7 plus that where all metal.
Ohh well I've made much bigger mistakes. There is an evo 8 MR one on one of those forums for $150 right now for anyone that is looking for one.
If I thought about it for 10 seconds I would have wondered how a metal part could snap off like that.. .haha!
I've been thinking about how i'll drill and tap it and put in a new spout. Lol.

I'll put this one on and see how it goes.. I have seen people say that the evo 8 plastic BOV holds 20psi no trouble.. which is a damn site more than ours do.

I have disconnected the standard boost controller...not sure if it is helping or not actually...need to get it up on the dyno and see.....
