I just came up with the thought that if you have done the brembo upgrade on your car what happens if you get a flat tire? Does the space savers that come with the cars able to clear them or do you need to get a full size spare that clears the calipers?? I'm right in thinking that the original wheels don't clear the calipers correct??

Dont know if the factory spare will clear or not, but to be safe I would get a EVO space saver before running a full size spare in the boot. Sorry I say boot, but for you wagon guys, think how much Tuppaware room a full size spare will take up

The stock legnum space saver doesnt fit over the brembos. I think there could be anough spare room for a full sized rim in the legnum at least, or as Jason said, look into a evo space saver

the evo space saver doesn't fit over brembos either.

You need to put it on the wrong way around :) IE instead of [ you put it on like ]

theres not enough room for it to clear the front brembos,
but it will clear a rear,

so you either have to put a full sized spare in the boot,
or swap wheels around if you front get a flat

i cut up my boot tray and put in a spare evo 7 stock enkei i had....

I have tried putting the space saver on the rear to see how it would fit as I would not even bother trying the fronts.
It fit on but looked so close it may have been just touching and i didn't want to spin the wheel and see as i would have lots the paint on the brembos so really I should pull out the space saver and have a weight saver with no wheel.
I was thinking of just getting a spacer and if the front ever got a flat just swap the rear to the front and use a space saver with a spacer on the rear.

I ain't possitive, but I am pretty sure I have had a R33 spacey on the front of an EVO VIII before. Not driven on but to keep it off the ground while changing tyres

Does the evo space saver fit on the evo? Or is it just the brembos on our cars that it wont fit over?

I am with Bob, ya gotta think that if our cars with the Brembo's set up is the same as the EVO's and an EVO SS fits an EVO them "ipso facto" it will fit our cars??

Was looking in the trunk of an Evo X the other day and it didn't have a spare at all, just a puncture repair kit with one of those aerosol cans you can use to temporarily fix a tire.

i reckon it would be close.. stock 33 brakes are 4 pot on 297mm rotors, which is pretty similar size to the brembo's..
