Quote from EvoOz

I have a set of EVO VI front and rear Brembo Calipers for sale.

They were purchased to go onto a racecar but will not fit.

Calipers come with 2 sets (front and Rear) second hand race pads.
One set is Wedsport and they have about 75% material left and the other set looks like Pagid race pads with about 50% material left.

Take the lot for $1000
Must sell
Call Ashly 0418 916 523 any time

They started at $1800, i think these are a real bargin

Contacting him now - need some brakes for my magna temporarily only got the EVO twin piston calipers on the car, will then swap the brembo's across to the galant when I get it across. Gonna need the big brakes when I go racing round wanneroo.

Purchased one complete set of brembo's thanks for the tip on the forums saved me money and time. Now I can race the magna at the next no speed limit day on August with the magna :) and the galant has some brakes when its ready

IF anyone is interested, RPW has a spare set of Brembo calipers in stock. Valued at $1000.00 for the fronts only, I had already ordered these when I got the other ones. These are in perfect condition and this is the amount I actually paid for them. Price is for the pair and these are a direct bolt onto the VR4 without any mods required other than new pads and rotors.

Anyone interested just PM me.

assumingly its for the Facelift?

Hey Dave, why not fabricate Brembo Caliper adaptors for us Prefacelift owners? I bet you'd get lots of orders..

This will fit the pre facelift model as a direct bolt on.
I am happy to make adatpers but would need a sample car in the shop to work with as my own model will be a pre face lift model

what model car are they off? older evo? i think the ABS sensor is the problem with bolting them up to pre facelift cars

These are off the EVO IV - EVO 8 Brembo 4 pot calipers. When I get a chance with a customer will check out the fitment of the brembo's on the face lift model and if necessary, make hte appropiate fittings.

Those will bolt straight onto a facelift, but on a prefacelift you need new abs sensors and hub carriers.

I thought it was evo V and onwards that bolted onto a facelift?

evo 4's have identical calipers to facelift VR-4's. they have the same rotors as all VR-4's though.

evo 5-9 have 4 pot brembos, all of those will bolt onto a facelift VR-4.

Ah righteo. So if there were an evo 4 brembo kit...PFL owners could use this I assume?

nope...evo 4 calipers are the same as facelift VR-4's, ie you can't put them onto a prefacelift. PM replied by the way.

Cool cheers dude :)

My mate's dad owns a brake specialist workshop. I'll see if there's anything he can do when I get my VR4. The main reason I'm looking so hard is that I really want to do track days and knowing these are the same as my magna brakes (which were upgraded from stock...single pistons suck lol) they can get a bit fade-y after a few spirited rounds.

On completely stock brakes with the standard mitsi pads, I barely managed to stop at the end of the back straight on pukekohe after only 3 laps!

Yep know all about the lack of braking with the standard mitsi twin pot calipers on my magna. Not even going to bother taking the car round barbagello until I fit the brembo's to it front and rear.
