Who's interested in a weekend cruise in august down to the snow.?.?.?.?.?.?

FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT - Bring the better half and kids :bigsmile:

Maybe even our mexican cousins might like to join us????? :bigsmile:

Probably get accommodation 30 mins from snowfields so we get to drive up and down the mountain each day..... :bigsmile: (much much cheaper option)

(also have a few very quiet backroads that offer a few challenging sections for the trip down and back) these will be tackled responsibly as this is a FAMILY EVENT

Just an EOI at this stage to see what sort of numbers we're talking.

FEEL FREE TO ADD ANY IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS THAT MIGHT MAKE THIS ENJOYABLE FOR EVERYONE

It's pretty rare to ever have snow on the road in NSW for you snow tyre chaps

1800 there and back.... Plus i was allowing 500k's driving around while we are there..... So yeah its not QUITE that far

Crazy in the snow in a car? YES
(Haven't done it in a VR4 but I HAVE been in the snow near Tamworth in both a Commonwhore ute and a Foul-coon sedan..... Yes, it is as fun as you would imagine lol)

So i'm interested, but it will be a difficult one for me to attend

Sigh, i will be kicking asses this w/e as there is a practice day on at the local track which i will be attending (And getting some organisation pointers haha)

Just an idea last season we camped yes camped on the way to guthega. It is included as part of the lift pass. It was damn good fun you just need a decent sleeping bag.

Maybe we could camp a little further out. There are LOADS of camping spots along the way.

I'm already trying to accrue enough leave for the super huge cruise next year.
