It's not really Motorsport as such but this is the best place IMO to put my thread.

My friend Scott and I have entered my Legnum into the 2012 Cannonball Run Australia which kicks off in Brisbane on the 19th of Feb '12.

Parties, Speeding, Exotic cars, film crews and one twin turbo family wagon will make it one hell of an event. I can't wait!

My Boss has already said he will sponsor us if we put some stickers on the car, so we are going to try and whore the car out a bit with stickers/vinyl to get some $$$.

Rob I honestly think it's worth the $5k on my part. You'd esxpect to pay near that for a holiday of epic proportions anyway. As Nic says, weeds out the haters and leaves a group of 60 genuine enthusiats/hoons

Considering that a decent track day costs at least $1k worth of fuel, tyres, brake pads, rotors, fluid changes and then you have a track fee on top of that, then the 5k each isn't too bad, but then I guess you have to add all those things on to that

Lachlan - Mate this is my dream! I have wanted to do this for soooo long. I might see if i convice my mate and join Two VR4's
But i would have to fix a few things so it would probably woudl cost me 10K and my mate 5K
