carbon dash,

hi all,
a quick question, i have the factory carbon (goldie coloured) dash set-up out of my galant. and i dont know weather to keep it as a spare or just sell it off.
is there much want for this colour carbon?
what is it wurth?

They seem to cost a lot second hand Rob. I personally like the grey'er carbon look, like Tom's front bar etc

Gold coloured is the standard one. The grey colour carbon was a fairly rare option on prefacelifts.

I didn't know there was another carbon other that Ralliart and the Standard one.

i sold my gold/green carbon for the $200-250 mark, (was mint)

replaced it with the silver ralli-art carbon

these are the only standard carbon options

I sold mine for $125 (standard golden underneath the 3M carbon look alike)! I wish I could score the Ralliart centre console, but it's absolutely sold out in every single store in Japan! :-(

Nope, I tried that way. I contacted the Sales Manager in Japan and he checked all stores & shops, there is absolutely nothing left. If you want the part number let me know & good luck! ;-)

The last one for sale on Yahoo is pretty much 6months ago now too... and there was an incomplete on trademe for $150 a while ago.

Strongly agree. If it was actual carbon then maybe, but $350 for some printed plastic seems a little OTT.

The one we are talking about was a stock console from a S2. Thousands of them were made!
