Sweet, i'll drop in on him tomorrow. Not sure on an exact cost but i know it'll def. be cheaper than those covers ive linked to above!

Alex - how about asking your old man to do a CF Evo Bonnet as well?

Haha i can try! He uses an old fridge-sized dryer (used to use it for making dried tomatoes!) he's modded to cure his CF his wings, the mirror covers would fit, a bonnet, well maybe not... I'll get some details about his methods when i speak to him, you never know, there may be some sorta way it could be possible!

if anything i would be interested in a CF lip for the front bar. rkn that would look hot!

yeah but you could never ever park the thing facing forward then. (I have seen soooo many CF lips fucarked by parking bays and concrete barriers - in fact, just yesterday my mate and I were munching on Bakers delight when an S15 with a sexy arse front CF lip went a little too close and BANG&%^#%#...exactly dude!)

haha yeah i can imagine but still would look hot :)

I can still get these :) just had a lot of personal stuff to deal with recently.

Ill start a new group buy thread soon.

Back to the mirror covers... would definitely be interested since mine are scratched to the bejesus since Day 1 (and that was over two and a half years ago!).

Yep, I'll be interested on the cover too so count me in Alex

Spoke to the old man, he can do it... I'll have to source some CF fabric, the resins and some stuff to make a mold of the wing mirrors - anyone got a spare set floating about they're willing to lend?:)

I have no idea what costs will be involved as yet, but i doubt it'll be too much.

If anyone has any other ideas for small-ish parts that would look good in carbon... Hrrrm gauge pods come to mind!

Like what Gly has... a custom twin gauge pod in a single housing that replaces the clock in the centre dash (50mm?) :D

'Xactly! We'll see how easy/difficult it is to do the wing mirrors first, then I'll try making those.

Be careful. I can see these looking proper atrocious unless the rest of the car is suitably modified... And the ones on importmonster don't fit, btw.

I'll try them out, see how they look, then go from there...
