Carpet for our cars

Hi all,

I have just made a new floor up for my boot and now need to get some carpet to match the rest of the car. My problem is in Tasmania there is a very limited amount of places and none stock any carpet that matches my car. Anyone interested in looking into it for me Sydney or Melbourne? I have a tan coloured interior with tan leather. I hope someone can help me. I just need someone to take their car and get colour and pile matched. Then I will know what to order and get sent down.

I think www.knoxautocarpets.com.au may have some that matches but bit far for me to go to. Could order it from them though so any Melbourne guys?

not keen on ripping it of the old floor piece?

(I've done this you just need to pull the staple's out and it peals of pretty easy)

So to confirm do you want to replace the other carpets in the boot, or the main floor carpet? For the main floor carpet, you can get them in 4 colours, the yellow you have, the black in most VR-4's, the very rare red super vr-4, and the mid grey on some low end legnums. I wouldn't try getting the main part of the carpet made up, it's too much work!

Well guys I sent my left hand tail light access cover to Know auto carpets and he said he didn't have anything that colour or pile. So I might have to look at removing my carpet from original pocket or replace floor carpets in boot in black, this might be good anyway as it won't show the dirt. Also if I make a sub box I can cover that in black and tie it in nicely. Just thought I'd give you all an update.

Removed staples and pulled old carpet off the old plastic boot floor. I will need to trim my mdf floor down as it is a little tighter fit than the original and the carpet won't stretch over it at the moment. Job for tonight, will put original handle in too then it will look completely factory.
