It been a very long time since I posted here, so I thought I would reintroduce myself.
Some of you may remember my car.
Well a lot has changed since then.
In August 2008 I was driving to Mt. Buller. I was about 20 mins outside of Mansfield when I started to overtake some somebody. Once I completed the overtake I keep going. Moments later and police officer pointed at me to pull over. My heart sunk. As I was doing >50km/h over the speed limit I did not receive a on the spot fine and I was a long way from home my car was not impounded. Worst day ever. I had to go to court at a later date.
On the 12th of October 2008 I was driving through ChuchHill Park with some friends in the car. I had not yet attended court. I was driving through a T intersection when at the last second a young lady pulled out in front of me. I hit the brakes and ended up t-boning her at approx 60-70km/h. Fortunately I hit the rear drivers door and no one was seriously injured. I had whiplash and a sore knee as a result of my knee hitting the dash at the moment of impact. Other than that I was fine. The same unfortunately could not be said for my car. She admitted fault to the police and there were plenty of witnesses. 1-2 weeks later my car was declared a write-off and I was paid out. I collected my stuff and said good bye.
On December 3rd 2008 I was charged with dangerous driving (not speeding) and had my licence disqualified for 12 months. Which is why I have not yet purchased another car.
However hopefully with the help of Kristian this is all about to change. I have been speaking to Kristian from Iron Chef Imports about helping to get my very own Legnum. Have started looking now even though its still about 4.5 months till I can drive again. So yeah we will see how we go.
Anyway – Just wanted to say hi again. Sorry to those that knew me for disappearing wasn’t the best part of my life and im not proud of what happened.
