Cleaning interior plastics and vinyls

Doing some cleaning and detailing on the car, and I'm having trouble removing some residue from the inside of the doors, just below the window glass.

What does everyone use for cleaning products?

Hey Stephen !!!! are you talking about inside the door where all the mechanicals are ? just trying to see what it is that you are trying to clean , but if it was me , I use Hot water and wax and grease remover when
I do the cleaning of my interior. Not sure If it's what you are referring to .
