hey guys iv noticed that when the sun is out and at night time my climate control doesnt seem to very bright at all... is there a way to make this brighter at night its not too bad, but during the day i can not see it at all..

if not i will learn to live with it, but i do hope there is a way

Do you have MMCS or the standalone climate control?

In the MMCS sat nav menus you can adjust the screen brightness and that also will affect all other operations such as climate control, stereo etc.

no i dont have the mmcs, i just have the standalone climate control, im thinking there is no way to do i t, oh well

come on brad im sure you would know :P

I find that it dims too much when I turn on the lights. I can see it fine when the lights are off, but early in the morning or during rain or whatever when it is daylight and I have the lights on I can't see it at all.

yea i have also noticed that when i have my lights on it dims more, it shoujld get brighter, as i drive with my lights on all the time

No, all your dash lights will dim when you turn the lights on because it makes it easier to drive at night. I guess you could find the wire that sends the "headlights on" signal to the unit and cut it so that it doesn't dim, but it would probably get annoying having bright lights in your eyes at night after a while.

Someone did a write-up on how to make them blue, i am sure you could follow that and put in some brighter globes?

yea that could work could someone please point me to it? if they know where it is

What Tim said, turn your lights off, the air con lights will become a lot brighter. Or just change the wiring so they are on full power the whole time.
