This has been tested with and without tune and works the same as the kit that I made in the past.

Also, this kit sits slightly lower compared to the v.2 kit and should allow you to use your factory engine cover.

Below are the members who's bought the kit from me

What are the differences between this and the version 2.0 kit, aside from sitting lower?

different coil :)

does not require trimming, ensuring warranty claims from supplier is accepted (not that I have ever claimed any)

for N/A application these unit makes the engine feel a lot more responsive

Much involved in installation, Big C?

Also *watches thread*

Front bank - remove Y-pipe.
Rear bank - remove plenum.
That's it. Might be worth to have a spare plenum gasket if you haven't replaced it before and its brittle. Also a good time to replace rocker cover seals if yours are leaking.

Mad. So no soldering new connections? Haha.

Plan to do a few things in one hit - lifters, new VK22s and COP + Fuel rail all in the one hit later in the year when I can afford it...

These COP kits are plug n play to minimize headaches.

May need to loosen up the nut holding the coil when fitting but is straight forward and same process as changing spark plugs

2000 Legnum Mint with 44589ks when I got it. Now with black leather seats. After 3 years of fun some terminal engine bay wiring issues raised their ugly heads and it died. I Now drive a 2002 Legnum and have retired the 2000 to spare parts duty.
1/. Do these new coils fit under the stock engine cover? 2/. Would changing the front 3 coils require a change to the wiring loom 3/. If answer to no. 2 is no, how much would it cost for 3 coils. PM the answers if you like. I would like to retain the engine cover in the new car as its in good condition and the engine bay is very stock looking at the moment.

Just noticed you have me as having purchased 2 cop kits, at no 6 and no 11. I'm not that wealthy, I only got 1 kit. LOL.

Unfortunately the engine cover doesn't work with the cop kit. And no u cant just run 3 coils. U need all 6 in this setup as these coils only fire 1 cylinder each. Original coils split fire and go to 2 cyl each. Fires 1 on front back and 1
On rear bank simultaneously.

@Rabit , I dont recommend using the v2 with v3 COP kit as both these hardwares have different output and use different dwell/timings..

to answer your question if it'll fit, yes it will as these sits lower than v1 and v2

what is wrong with your kit?

@trotty , he's got a kit already and wants to utilize on his 2nd car.

Thats cool.

Did you let Mitsubishi know in advance that their stock of spare engine covers is about to sell out.
