hey guys

am doing some research on coilovers for my car and have found:

"Legnum only are the High Tech, which are a slight upgrade from the Supers. Part number SKR42-GIB00. Spring rate of 3.8kg for the Front and 3.0 Rear"

that quote from a previous thread.

Can i get any opinions on these Teins as they seem to be the most popular performer, and any other suggestions?

cheers

Those spring rates are too soft, softer than most lowering springs and similar to stock 3.6kg/mm (F) 2.5kg/mm (R)

Tein Wagon and Super Flex are fairly good and you can get them in 5kg/3kg and 8kg/5kg.

hey mate dont know if it helps you but ive tried 4 different brands of coil overs in my s15 as it sees some track work, tried k-sport,buddy club,d2 and tein coil overs, i wouldnt stress over damper adjustment as tein's only have 16 where most have like 36 which is stupid but i rated the buddy clubs/teins pritty highly but in the end just stuck with the teins, because they were cheaper and replacement parts for them are easy to get and in aus, i use 9kg springs up back and 8.5kg springs up front, um to discribe the diff between the teins and the others, id say the stiffness in all the same but hitting bumps in the road where the cheap ones would more smack over bumps the teins would take more shock, make smother trans, but still be just as stiff, hope that helps
