Hey guys.
My name is Nick and as you can tell I'm new here. I'll be in the market for another car in about a years time and i have a few in mind. Those being a Subaru Liberty (some turbo model), a Nissan S15 and of course a VR-4. I've signed up to other forums to do some research on these cars and i hope to find some great info here. I currently drive a Honda Prelude and the whole NA+FF sometimes pisses me off. So i thought it was time to upgrade with something turbo and something that drives the rears.
I know how to use the search button so hopefully I won't be the annoying noob who posts random threads all the time asking silly questions.

Welcome Nick, as an ex NA+FF (galant hj) owner myself..the VR4 is a pleasant surprise!!
I'm new myself to the VR4 but so far its good value, fast and handles great, wife loves it, mates love it and the tech for a car 10yo+ is amazing.
 
G'day Nick. I went from a Prelude to a VR4, and its a great step forward. Take one for a spin, you wont regret it.

I've owned both S15 and VR-4 so am fairly impartial between the two cars.

In my opinion, if you need any semblance of practicality, the VR-4 is the better car.

If you like to kick the tail out and spend not much on mods to get much more on power, then the S15 is the go.

Both cars are fun to drive in their own way.
 
so guys just a small update.
i bought evo002's (marc) old car that i found on car sales. i flew up to adelaide and bought it almost instantly. a few weeks later i returned to drive it back.
i'm so wrapped with the car in every aspect. car is immaculate inside and out and so clean. no plans any time soon but once the finance is paid off i'll be looking into a leather interior.

Nice car mate..I myself just got mine a few weeks ago and absolutely loving it..its the same color as yrs and i love the color most of all..since yrs is a facelift yr keyless entry is diff from pre facelifts..in like when u unlock the car and then hold the unlock butoon down the windows rolls down as well and vice versa..u should have this feature as most facelifts do..enjoy the car!!
 
haha sweet ill be sure to check that out although my alarm system is worked in with the mitsi key so i think the alarm may go off by holding down the lock key.
i thought that feature was disabled during compliance though?
 
oh u got an aftermarket alarm?

Well im not sure if its supposed to be disconnected during compliance but alot of pple on the forum still have it in their cars..
