Christian,

I agree, i think you are on to something there! they look identical but obviously adjustable.

The bolts at the bottom look like Camber bolts to me? correct me if im wrong... but my focus had rear camber bolts very similar....

Cheers,
Brent

camber bolts dont work,

these work on the rear

you will hit the inside of the strut tower with these so no good

and the control arms are different so no good either

if there cheap enough, i may be inclined to give them a go anyway.

the cheapest way to adjust your rear camber is to remove the 4 bolts holding the upper a-arm to the chassis,
buy longer bolts and fit spacers (ie washers) behind the arm brackets,

this works and ive done it on my legnum, no problems with rear camber mods....

the problem with the front is it is only about 2-3mm of room between the strut tower and the upper arm so when you fit these camber kits its make the arm or bush hit the strut tower which is the problem i had....
this was with a +1.5 degree kit set at the max camber correction (out most)
(i ground the outside edge of the arm to make it fit)
(theres barely a post-it note thickness clearance now)

AFAIK, im the only one who has done a full camber adjustment on or 8gs

Why did you need to adjust your camber anyway, Carsten? Does lowering the car affect the camber significantly?

yes i only adjusted it coz i lowered my car...

and yes it goes way outside factory recommended spec's and eats the inside of the tyres within a year.

here is my car standard (about 7 months ago) and lowered a week later.

That's NASTY! So are you saying that everyone that's lowered their Legnum / Galant will be getting substantial inside tire wear?? If so, why hasn't anyone else gone to the effort to adjust their camber??

It isn't that bad, but do a search on cvr4 for camber and you will see quite a few people talk about it. My plan is to simply unmount the rear tyres and swap them left to right every 10000km.

My car isn't as low at the front as Carstens and doesn't have any camber issues at the front, so I don't need to worry about that at all.

watch out, they sit low on the car, not lowered car or speed bump friendly,
not something you want on unless your on a nice smooth road or racetrack

got one of them, but all it will do is stop the bottom of the suspension moving when turning hard and fast or over bumps, sure that will limit camber and toe changes, but I doubt it would really affect the life of the tyres.

GLY, how many degrees of negative camber did you get on the front from how many millimeters of lowering?

I am also interested to see whether or not those camber ball joint will work in the negative or positive direction. Couldn't find them on the link previously posted.

This doesn't just happen on Legnums ... my 200sx had 3 degrees camber on the rear when I dropped it ... its awesome if don't do much straight line driving ... lol

gave me -3.5 on the rear and -2.5 on the front

thats 2degrees out side factory limits, inside tire eating camber :D
