Creaky Brakes

Hey guys,

When I put my foot on the brakes they make a fairly loud creaking noise. Doesn't seem to affect the performance at all. The previous owner has swapped Evo brembos on with some braided lines, could the lines be where the noise is coming from?

It doesn't matter if I'm moving or not, as soon as I touch them they make the noise, even more so if I push down harder.

Anyone else had this before?

Surprisingly, they don't squeal at all

is it from the pedal or behind the firewall, or from each corner you're hearing it from? might be easier to determine in the garage with all the windows down if someone pumps the brake for you

I did have a friend pump the brakes for me but I didn't have the wheel off so I couldn't get a good look.

It's definitely coming from the front 2 corners under the wheel well.

My Brembos creak too. If you like I can record the sound to confirm it's the same.

You can only hear it when not moving. Like, if I stop the engine and press the brakes hard.

Yeah sounds like the same thing, i just cant hear the noise while moving but i assume it is there. If you can grab a recording to check ill do the same

Lots of opinions on this. Lubricating the pad slider, lubricating the pad pins, putting extra lube behind the piston rubbers. Try 'em all, see what works I say.
