Is anyone able to tell me if we are able to get spare keys cut, or do they have those chips or whatever the new cars have so you have to order them from Mitsubishi. Because I lost one from the misses XR6 and Ford want $260 for a bloody key.

Get one from one of those key places in the shopping center, only $7 cut as its just a normal mitsi key. Thats all you need for a backup key unless you want to buy an original with the electronics.

Well personally I think you'd need to work REAL hard to lock your keys in your car when you've got remote central locking... And if you've de-locked your doors its rather difficult to unlock with a key anyway ;)
