Detachable plastic parts on middle bottom front bar

Guys,

Not sure if anyone lost this parts before, that detachable section on middle bottom front bumper.
Do you know where to get a new one easily and how much would that cost?

$60 and 3 weeks from local Mitsubishi.

Its called a tow hook cover

Take your chassis number in and they can reference it for the right colour part, or look it up in the part numbers guide for a plain white or black one

Oh dude that sucks, didn't you only replace it like 6 months ago?

Something like that. It got damaged on a camping trip though, well my front bar has a crack and the covfer lost it's little pins that help it stay secured.

Anyhow waa waa bleh blah my fault weeeeee.

I broke the rear screw holes off in a hurry to get it off for the tow truck one day... used these to secure the back to the bar. (see picture below)

Another way to secure the front would be to run a piece of metal along the inside of the bar and screw up through the tow hook cover into the metal strip. However you would have the screw heads visible; but only of the car is on a hoist; otherwise it would be alot more securely held on.

i better secured mine extra tight after i get the new one off the dealer then.

yup, its $60 from mitsubhishi dealer, just ordered mine today.
could be 1-3 weeks till it arrive.
