Hey guys,

I'm having some problems with my digital tuner.
I can't seem to find Triple J or any of the other ABC digital stations. I can find most of the popular stations like Nova, Gold, Triple M etc. but not Triple J.

The tuner I'm using is an Alpine CDE-136BT.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Good to know...

Even if you don't listen to triple j I would appreciate if someone could tell me if they can or can't get it. Or any ABC station for that matter.

In Adelaide my son gets TripleJ, DoubleJ, and about 7 ABC digital channels.

You need to do a full scan, you must be scanning only the "commercial band".

I just looked at the manual for your unit and I found this...

Have you tried tuning in DAB1 and DAB2 and DAB3?

OK worked it out! Phil you inspired me to do some research on what station runs on which "block/multiplex"

Referencing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_radio_in_Australia;
I was able to work out which multiplex to set my radio to. SBS and ABC radio run on a different multiplex (9C) to the popular comercial stations (9A and 9B).

For some reason my tuner wasn't scanning the 9C block so I manually set my tuner to that multiplex block and found all the ABC stations in there.

So if anyone is having trouble finding the stations you want to tune then fiddle with your tuner and use this as a guide.
