Stock 700cc Turbo FMIC Dihatsu copen. After a service started venting on Gear shift's as if it had VTA tis quiet but definately noticeable. Never made the sound in the past only after a service non turbo specialist. According to the driver lol no difference in performance or fuel consumption but it is my sister. I checked usual vacume hoses of what i could find all seemed good. Any Suggestions?

Sneezing only on back off? If so; I would be checking the intake pipes or stock BOV recirc pipes / bov itself

hmmm I see your point... I think taking that black cover off would be a good place to start.

edit: ah HA! ... found this! follow link below. It has steps to locate the factory BOV.

As brad agreed; I'm thinking along the lines of cracked pipe or even dislodged from the return side, which would make the bov a VTA essentially. However not cool as the return line is sucking in air. Best thing would be to take a look with good lighting and go from there.

If the pipes all look fine; perhaps give it the good ol' soapy water trick a go.

aka. 1) put your hand in soapy bucket of water 2) run your soapy hand over the affected area, just enough soapy solution to cover, not drown the area. 3) have someone watch the affected area while you rev the car to see for bubbles etc.

Best of luck mate! keep us updated!
