I'm getting a new grandson for my birthday on the 14th, consequently I'll be lurking around the Gold Coast for a couple of days handing out brag-books.

Anyone up for a head-wetting ceremony???
 
Geez, can't you guys organise your trips and all come together? lol

I'm always keen...

If you come up a day earlier we can go out for some drag racing at Willowbank on the 12th :)

...or stay a day longer and go out on Wed 16th

i will be there all next week maybe this week end if i can get out of here quick enough through to 15th maybe

Kitty's in the panel beaters having some cosmetic surgery, I'm not sure whether we are flying up or driving yet, but I'll let you know asap, but the leggie will definitely not part of the equation :cursing::cursing::cursing:

once I know whats happening I'll PM you, but I'll definitely pack a "turban" for the trip.
 
sounds good, i am keen to catch up with the qld crew if some one wants to have a little get together one arvo evening some thing..... got a few things on but should have a bit of free time for a little cruise. any one want to pick this up in the GC area?

I'm around the coast most days so PM me once you know your dates and we can sort something out.

We'll try and pick a time that Kat can make it as well.
 
We'll be staying in Ormeau, and the dates are definite, 14th for drinks works for me, head wetting/birthday combined meet........................ so anywhere thats central for the party animals is fine, we can taxi home
 
Hmmm Monday night, somewhere near Ormeau...

Hipsi lives up that way, maybe he can suggest somewhere. My mate runs the pub there which serves good food and of course alcohol :)
 
Ok, I am on goldy Monday 7th till Monday 14th. Will probably be heading back to Sydney on the Monday, so that night is out for me. Friday night may not be good for a big one. Weds night is no good either. I will be staying at sufers. I will need some time to wash the bugs off first though, got to make the leggy look pretty.

I'm available for lunch Wed or Fri if that suits. Otherwise I might be able to get out on Sunday afternoon and we could go for a drive to the spit (local car-posing spot)

As for Monday night it seems there's not much interest so I'll just jump in and pick a venue :D

Yeah, I'll be coming back down the M1 from Brisbane so it's easy for me too.

So who else is coming? If dinner is too early, you can always drop down later and say hello and have a drink. I'll probably stay around till 8 or 9.
 
For those who haven't been, the QLD crew are mighty hospitable! :)

Make sure you visitors show your appreciation somehow ok?
