Dr Drift charity dyno night this Thursday

Thursday night 5pm til late. $30 a run, all proceeds to the Red Cross. It isn't a 4wd dyno so no good for our cars but if you want some good times (always fun at Sam's!) and to see some tough cars, come on down!

If anyone doesn't know the location PM me for details. I'll be there in the VR4 with a few other Ballarat peoples.

I'll also be having a chat to him about tuning the SAFC for me...

Word is there's already 60 cars signed up! Sam expects it to finish some time around 5am!!!

Most epic night ever.

75 cars ran and $2,850 was raised (plus proceeds from sticker sales - $10 each and a mate and I bought 5 between us so if that's any indication the total figure should be around $3,000)

Would have been well over 200 cars there, probably close to 1,000 people over the course of the night, friendly atmosphere and no real drama (except for someone doing an inappropriately placed skid, but anyone who has seen Sam mad would know that didn't last long). Also no Police presence whatsoever, which was admirable on their behalf because it could have easily been the most epic defect blitz in history.

A few mates had great results, including one who made his highest figure ever - 248rwkw out of a stock displacement CA18!

Toughest car was a 410rwkw T51R powered R32 GTR. Quiet, stock looking, on pump fuel. Awesome sleeper.
