Does anyone have any experience with this? Came on after hitting 50kmh, ASC and skiddy car came on with intermittent ABS light.

Anybody? This is pissing me right off, not sure whether it's the abs pump or some other ASC gremlin. Second hand units almost non existent, new unit worth ridiculous amounts.

I should have a spare ABS unit you can borrow if you want.

Thanks for that. It must be the specific unit though, MR407436. ASC and TCL

Can anyone help out with schematics for the ASC side ? I have pin outs for the ASC but no colours and the pin outs don't show any readings I can make sense of.

Let's see how accurate the error system turns out to be. Did further testing on the ABS pump and did in fact measure on the ASC solenoid valve side with errors on the resistance readings. In most cases the vales where higher than expected.

Possible pins 2 & 8 / 1 & 7 are swapped? Or you have probed the wrong ones.

I did this at least 3 times, the last time I did it with someone just to verify . I was really hoping I'd got it wrong.

I will get you a wiring diagram shortly.

Are you after the abs pump diagram?

That would be great BCX. Yes and if there is any info on the solid state relay for the ASC.

The lower values as stated by Mitsubishi are incorrect. The hand written values are correct against 2 ABS units known to be working. These are ASC versions with fixed connections direct into the module, exiting with 3 plugs.

Just bought 1998 Type S - Soon to be my first Turbo daily
If you need a reference car my car isn't bad it does have ASC flashy dashy reveals no fault codes. I haven't given it enough stick to warrant the flash of ASC light but I got it up to 1 bar of AYC for the first time which was neat.

Hi there and thanks. Would you be able to check your rear ASC relay for comparison? It looks like a solid state relay but I can't get any readings from mine with or without power.

This worked out finally to be the ABS pump assembly. Measuring resistance levels across the replacement and my own showed the same values so I hesitated and looked for other issues.
Finally tried plugging in the replacement unit as there's lots of cable length and errors disappeared.
ABS module was easy enough to swap over, wheel removal and bleeding took longer.
Paid $200 for the replacement unit and for what it does it's a great price.
