hi guys. something too good to be true came by today.
I dropped in to VERSCE Automotives (used to be calles Aussie Under Car or something) at corner of canterbury Rd and Cabarys Rd, Roselands. Their phone number is 0)950 3533.
It is very large shop with about 7,8mechanics working at the time, very large workshop with large wheel selections as well. they di all things like servicings, detailing ete, ete.
I asked for the quote on the exhaust system to the owner of the shop. he took me to the cexhaust section. Spoke to the guy name Victor. He looked at my car and said " what's that? Not a magna for sure." anyway, he looked under my car by sticking his head down and.. With 3 inch High flow cat, resinator and muffler (just plain one and i think the will charge extra for high performace muffler but do we really need it if we have 3' piping??) with 3 inch piping (not stainlesss) for $700! All new parts.
I thought "huh?" and i asked him "how about the dump pipes?" and he said "is it single turbo?" i said "twin~"
he opened the bonnet, and he was impressed. ANYWAY, he studied my car for about 2 minuts, looking here and there, bit of investigation, and he said "hmm interesting" and then he gave me a written quote on his bussiness card. he wrote
"turbo's back" quickly and he said
"well, with the custom dump pipe and 3' inch exhaust system including 3' high flow cat, resonator and (normal) muffler, $1400." and he wrote $1400 on his business card.
Too good to be true?
I am so~ tempted. Should i be the lab mice and see what happens...
