I didn't really know where to post this, but it will contain pictures, so the Pictures thread seemed as good as any....I should probly include a bandwidth warning for any dial uppers out there.
On Sunday I went to the Toymods dyno day at SAS in Silverwater in Sydney. I threw the Legnum on the dyno and snapped a few shots of some of the other cars there, mostly old school Toyotas. A few Sprinter/Trueno/Levins, a few ST185 GT4s, 7M and 1J powered Cressidas, even a bug-eyed STI and a Liberty B4.
Here's just a couple of my favs:
Mid 60s (I think) Crown Deluxe on airbags. The pic doesn't do this car justice...very very nice in the flesh
Turbo-charged 18RG powered RA25 Celica
Nice Chaser
Easily my favourite of the day. This thing was pretty nutty, carbon doors, bonnet and boot, projector headlamps, heart shaped tow hook and ran a twin carby 2TG. Made decent power too. Oh and he managed to stretch a 225 tyre onto what must have been a 12 or 13" rim.
This Corolla was just beautiful. Clean as they come. I think it made a touch over 200rwkw.
Another nice Corolla, I think this had an SR20 as well
And...the Legnum and dyno sheet
I was reasonably happy with this, but I don't know what a dead stock Legnum/Galant should be producing...seemed about right though.
I'm not happy with the Air/fuel curve...it was waaaaay too rich, going off the graph for a while. For those with more experience with teh standard tune, is this normal or am I having some problems??
